Who are Best Practice Champions?
Best Practice Champions are nurses, health care professionals, and nursing students that are passionate about evidence informed practice and have made a commitment to promoting this practice through the use of the BPGs.
Best Practice Champions attend a workshop orientation to help them develop the necessary knowledge and skills and tools to champion the implementation of the BPGs and evidence base practice in their organization.
At Trent University, the student Best Practice Champions focus primarily on raising awareness of the BPGs among their colleagues, and promoting the implementation within the program.
